Podiatry Opportunity
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Elicit and record detailed patient medical histories using the EMR system - Order, oversee, and interpret various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images - Diagnose conditions and prescribe treatments, medications, and interventions - Perform minor outpatient surgeries and procedures - Document patient charts in a timely and accurate manner - Adhere to established quality protocols - Refer patients to specialists or other practitioners for specialized care - Advise patients on diet, hygiene, lifestyle modification, and disease prevention - Hospitalize and treat patients in local hospitals, if necessary - Supervise clinical components at assigned site - Assist with in-service training for medical staff - Provide back-up coverage for other locations as needed - Serve on committees and participate in organization teams - Participate in community health promotion and outreach initiatives - Engage in activities to enhance community awareness and promote a positive image of MedLink Georgia - Attend local medical conferences and meetings - Participate in the organization s Quality Assurance Program - Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience: - Graduation from an accredited medical school and internship - Completion of an approved residency program - Eligible for board certification
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: - License to practice medicine in the State of Georgia - State and federal controlled substance registration - Certification in CPR, ACLS, BCLS, PALS, ALSO, and/or NRP as applicable to the practice - Documentation of Board Certification/Eligibility
